Environmental Studies Minor
The Environmental Studies Minor is strongly interdisciplinary, with a particular focus on social sciences, policy studies, environmental design, and the humanities, while also providing a foundation in the natural sciences.
Environmental Studies Minor
The Environmental Studies minor is customizable, allowing students to tailor their coursework to meet their specific education and career goals. Students can concentrate on a focal area of their choosing and select from a variety of courses across disciplines, which provides students with a robust, interdisciplinary educational experience. The minor requires a minimum of 32 credits. Except for ENVS 401-409, all courses applied to the minor must be graded, and a C- or better must be earned in all graded courses. As many as two upper-division courses from a students’ major department may be used to fulfill the minor requirements. Minor maps, which outline the requirements to earn a minor, are available on the ENVS website, in the Environmental Studies office, or by visiting an advisor in Tykeson Hall.
