East Asian Studies Minor
The East Asian studies minor explores a dynamic region encompassing some of the largest world economies and some of the oldest civilizations. This minor allows students to focus on Japan, China, Korea, drawing on a wide-ranging curriculum with courses in anthropology, art history, Chinese language and literature, dance, film, geography, history, international studies, Japanese language and literature, linguistics, Korean language and culture, political science, and religious studies.
First- and second-year language courses cannot be used to satisfy requirements for the minor. All courses used to satisfy minor requirements must be taken for letter grades and passed with grades of C– or better.
