Video Production Microcredential

This program is designed for professionals and community members in the greater Portland metro region and environs who want to acquire skills in camera operation, lighting, video shooting and editing, and the fundamentals of visual/documentary storytelling. This program provides a pathway for people who want to advance their knowledge and skill development without committing to a full graduate degree program.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Students will build skills in shooting and editing video and in video storytelling, and acquire in additional competencies related to video production, such as 360 video, audio recording, 360 video, and/or basic entrepreneurial practices.
