ENVD 210. Foundations in Environmental Design. 2 Credits.
Foundations of Environmental Design introduces students to the breadth and different paths of the Environmental Design major. The course will explore Environmental Design as a multidisciplinary topic which focuses on visual and spatial design skills applied to the context of environmental sustainability. Concurrent registration in ENVD 289 required.

Study of places, their use, and how they evolve. Fundamentals of environmental awareness, social factors, and small-scale site design; abstract design and elementary graphic techniques.

Environmental Design Media II is the second course in a yearlong foundational environmental media sequence. The course focuses on creating diagrams for environmental design site analysis. Students cannot receive credit for both ENVD 452 and LA 452. Sequence with ENVD 451, ENVD 453.

Environmental Design Media III is the third course in a yearlong foundational environmental media sequence. The course focuses on 3D modeling and creating graphic content for environmental design. Students cannot receive credit for both ENVD 453 and LA 453. Sequence with ENVD 451, ENVD 452.
