The University Testing Center (UTC), a unit of the Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management, schedules, coordinates, and administers a wide range of assessment testing for students and community members. The center works closely with the Accessible Education Center to provide proctoring for students with accommodations. The UTC also administers academic examinations, placement assessments, and credit by examination programs such as CLEP and DANTES. The UTC offers community and student support by offering testing programs such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Miller Analogies Test, Praxis, licensing programs through the state, and the Oregon Educator Licensure Assessment (ORELA). In addition to its computer-based testing program, the center organizes the on-campus administration of the paper-and-pencil GRE Subject Tests, Law School Admission Test (LSAT), and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE). Students and community members taking online, distance-education courses are also able to have their examinations proctored at the center.

Registration materials and information are available on the website or by e-mailing a request to testing@uoregon.edu. The center is located in E248 University Health, Counseling, and Testing Center Building. Tests are administered by appointment. Hours of operation are listed on the website.
